About this project
The brief. Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, an Auberge Resorts Collection property in Los Cabos, set out to fully renovate its spa and relaunch it under THE WELL — the New York wellness brand known for holistic, science-meets-ritual standards. The renovation demanded customized guest experiences, environmental sustainability, and a seamless translation of THE WELL’s identity into a Baja setting.
Our role. Partnering with THE WELL and Other World Design, MERCANTIL delivered full procurement for the renovation — sourcing and managing the furniture, finishes and objects that make the space feel both clinical-grade and deeply calm. Procurement for an operating resort spa is a logistics discipline: brand standards on one side, construction schedule on the other, and a guest experience that can’t slip in between.
The outcome. A flagship wellness destination for Los Cabos: THE WELL’s holistic standards, Auberge’s service, and an interior that belongs to its coastline.
