INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES
Hillary Kent is a luxury interior design studio based in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, working across Los Cabos, Mexico City and Miami. We design and furnish hotels, resorts, spas and private residences — and through MERCANTIL, our sourcing and production arm founded in 2021, we bring the work of México’s finest artisans directly into every project.
The studio was built on an unusual combination: East Coast luxury training and deep roots in Baja. Hillary holds a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and began her career under Victoria Hagan, an Architectural Digest Top 100 designer, before leading design at textile and furniture companies serving the hospitality industry. That background — rigorous residential craft on one side, large-scale hotel work on the other — shapes everything we do.

Hospitality Interior Design
Hotels, resorts, beach clubs and restaurants. From concept development to custom furniture production, we create hospitality spaces rooted in place — like our furnishing work for the Ritz-Carlton Reserve Zadún beach club and the Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas.
Spa & Wellness Design
Spas, med spas and wellness spaces designed for calm — natural materials, honest craft and environmentally conscious sourcing, as in our renovation work for The Well Spa at Chileno Bay Resort.
Luxury Residential Design
Full-service residential design for villas, beach houses and condos across Baja California Sur and beyond — from architecture-stage planning to the last hand-thrown vessel on the shelf. See Paros House.

Do you take on projects outside of México?
Yes. The studio is based in Todos Santos with offices in Mexico City and Miami, and takes select projects across the United States and internationally.
Can you work alongside our architect or design firm?
Yes — we regularly collaborate with architects and design firms as furnishing, sourcing and production partners, as we did with EDG Design and Other World Design on recent resort projects.
What is MERCANTIL?
MERCANTIL is our sourcing and production brand, founded by Hillary in 2021, dedicated to custom furniture, textiles and one-of-a-kind objects made by Mexican artisans.
