About this project
The brief. The owners came to us with a photograph of Paros, Greece and a piece of land in Todos Santos. The ask: the Cycladic feeling — white volumes, soft plaster, sun-washed calm — blended with Baja California Sur, and an “easy luxury” that would make the house effortless to live in and to share.
The concept. Rather than copying the Aegean, we translated it. Whitewashed surfaces meet Baja’s warmer light; curves and niches replace hard casework; textures come from hand-plastered walls, timber and stone. The plan gives the house its resort quality: three bedrooms plus a guest casita, a garage, a rooftop oasis built for sunset hours, and a full lap pool.
Made in Baja — all of it. Sustainability wasn’t a line item; it was the owners’ brief. Every piece of furniture and every material in the house was made in Baja California Sur, produced with local workshops through MERCANTIL. Shorter supply chains, a lighter footprint, and a home that genuinely belongs to its peninsula.
The outcome. A villa that photographs like the Mediterranean and lives like Baja. The project has since been featured in the press: Casa Paros — Mediterranean Soul Meets Baja California Charm.
